Stergios Roussos, Ph.D.

Stergios Roussos, Ph.D.  is a researcher and educator for community health and development initiatives, specializing in behavior change at the community and organizational levels. His current work aims to understand and improve how organizations and collaborative partnerships work to eliminate disparities in health, education, and development, especially among persons with limited English proficiency. Areas of interest and expertise include evaluation design and support of community initiatives and networks, and the design and research of behavioral programs and interventions for community-level change. Dr. Roussos leads research teams through the Graduate School of Public Health, SDSU, where he is a Research Assistant Professor, and as Director of Alliance for Community Research & Development, LLC (ACRD) in Merced, California. He is a principal investigator and lead evaluation contractor for programs addressing various healthcare, public health and education concerns. Dr. Roussos works with scientists and practitioners from various disciplines to provide research and evaluation services, training, and educational activities to organizations in the US and abroad.
